Why did I titled it "Short escape"? It's simply because it is indeed a short time escaping from my packed routine lol.
Before we start the journey, of course I need to tell you the flight price to Lombok from Jakarta. It cost me around IDR 2.3 million (return). Depart 5 AM with Lion Air from Jakarta and 7 PM with Batik Air from Lombok. It's a bit (or much) pricey because it's peak season. For this trip, we booked a car with private driver. We trusted Bagus Trans to take us to every place we want in Lombok. It cost IDR 450,000/ 12 hours. Okay shall we start?

Right after we leave the airport we saw Nasi Balap Puyung and our driver said it's famous in Lombok, so we decided to try it (as we also need lunch later).

Then we depart to Pink Beach by car. Actually going to Pink Beach with car took longer time because of super bumpy road. Almost 3 hours from airport to get there. You actually can go there by boat from.. I forgot the name.. but it's easier and faster I guess?
We arrived at Pink Beach and we need to pay IDR 15,000 for entrance (1 car). It was hella hot at that time but nature never disappoint. The beach was sooo pretty the water still clean and transparent, also we can see the sea in blue gradation MY FAVE COLOR!
We went to Kuta area after we're done at Pink Beach. We checked in to our hotel The Origin Lombok. It's actually quite pricey but the place is really pretty and clean. It cost around IDR 1.2 million/room/night. I see that lot of tourists from overseas choose this place (as it's pricey) lol. You can check their specification on agoda/any web you usually use to find perfect accommodation for your trip.
As we need to catch the sunset, we went to Bukit Merese where we need to climb up to the top and see the sunset from there. Unfortunately, it's cloudy so the sun is covered by cloud and we barely see the sunsets... Of course you need to pay IDR 10,000 for 1 car to get into Bukit Merese.
We're going back and having dinner around Kuta. The place called Bucu and serve Western + Asian food. We tried their Mahi Mahi Grill (IDR 70,000), Bucu Mix Grill (IDR 180,000), and Penne Cheese (IDR 55,000) also! As we visited during happy hour, we got to order 'buy 1 get 1' Cocktail. ordered Mojito originally cost IDR 70,000. It contains alcohol, hmmm like 1 shot? Because I can taste the bitterness. My face was all red after I finished the drink lmao.
Day 2 is next and we got to visit lot of beach on day 2! Stay tuned :)
