1st Week in South Korea

Yay! Finally I can visit this wonderful country. Not only because of their KPOP, I also love their culture and technology. Shall we start?

I arrived at Incheon International Airport, about 8.45 AM KST. Surprisingly, the immigration check isn't that strict like Australia. We just pass it easily. Then I met 3 of INHA students from Indonesia and decide to join them. We stay a night at GoGo House in Incheon and going around Incheon for a day. Because of language barrier, it's hard to communicate with local people. Most of them can't speak English and we can't speak Korean. So we must walking for about 1 hour to find China Town in Incheon. But, right after we arrived there (about 7PM) the sun is about to go down and the view was incredibly awesome. FYI: the sunsets at about 7-8 PM here, yes, the daylight is longer than usual. We ate Jjajangmyun, black paste noodle. It's delicious /sluurrp/ different from the instant one ;P.

On the next day, we go to INHA and right after it, we go to... Myeongdong. The place where you can buy anything esp. cosmetics. In Myeongdong you may find lot of cosmetics brand, Etude, The Face Shop, The Saem, Innis Free, It's Skin, Holika Holika, Nature Republic, Banila Co, Lioele, Skin Food, Too Cool For School, etc. And what's interesting? Because in Myeongdong we can find those brand having 3-4 stores just in Myeongdong area!! They offer the same products and similar price, so they compete to attract visitor by giving free stuff. I even got The Saem's masker with GD on it lol. The price is cheap.. you can find nail polish from 1,000-6,000 Won (1 won = 10 Rupiahs / 1000 Won = 1 USD). BB/CC Cream is about 14,000 won, Eyeliner 2,500 - 9,000 won, and so on.

For KPOP lovers, you might love Myeongdong! Because they sell KPOP album with cheaper price. Just go to the underground and you'll find 2 KPOP store there. The price is similar.

INFINITE - Destiny + Poster = 9,000 won
L's Bravo Viewtiful + bonus = 23,000, w/o bonus =18,000
VIXX - Jekyll + poster = 11,000 won
VIXX - On and On, Rock ur Body = @7,600 won
2PM - Grown Grand Ed. = 31,700 won

You also can find some kpop store upstairs at Migliore. The price is similar too. Or at the back side of Myeongdong (you may take subway to Euljiro 1 (il)-ga). For the official one, there's kpop album store at the 3rd floor of Nature Republic, and Everysing at the 3rd floor of SPAO.
